Cardboard Architects: Cheese Tutorial

• Step 1: Cheese
• Part 2: Cheese Holes

This is one of two intro level tutorials to Tinkercad for the Cardboard Architects Launch Lab. The focus is moving, sizing, and grouping holes for careers in advanced manufactoring and construction. The competency focus is STEAM Agency.

1. Click and rotate the cheese using round arrows
2. Press D to put in on the plane/floor

1. Change the size by clinking and dragging the black and gray squares
1. I made mine 2 inches by 1 inch
2. Hold down SHIFT to keep the portions to make it better

1. Turn each of the balls into holes by clicking on the ball then clicking the “hole switch.”

2. Move the holes to random parts of your cheese

3. Select all the cheese and all the holes by clicking and dragging around all the holes and cheese
4. Once everything is selected click the union button to combine it
