• Do not leave the Cricut unattended.
• Keep an eye on your job. When jobs are running, stay by the machine

• Protect your hands
• Don’t touch hot surfaces: Heat Press/ Cricut Mug Press
• No hands on the Cricut when the machine is moving
• Ask a staff member for help with changing out blades or other tools. Make sure to turn off and unplug machine before changing blades/ tools.

• No forcing the material in or out of the Cricut
• Make sure to have space behind the Cricut when operating

The main machine. It cuts, writes, and scores on different materials like paper, vinyl, and iron-on.

Cutting Mats

Sticky mats that hold your material in place while the Cricut cuts. Different grip levels for different materials:

• LightGrip (blue) – for paper, thin cardstock
• StandardGrip (green) – for vinyl, iron-on, regular cardstock
• StrongGrip (purple) – for thick materials like chipboard
• FabricGrip (pink) – for fabric (used with the rotary blade)

Weeding Tools

These are for removing extra vinyl or iron-on around your design (like peeling off a sticker backing).

• Weeder – sharp hook used to peel off small vinyl bits
• Tweezers – grab small pieces
• Scraper – presses material down and scrapes off leftover bits on the mat

Transfer Tape

Sticky clear tape that lifts your vinyl design off the backing and helps you place it cleanly onto your surface.
